Abstract
This paper presents an IIR-formed adaptive array via realizing feedback structure with DOA (Direction-Of-Arrival) estimator. The output of adaptive array is basically given as a weighted sum of multiple array inputs, which can be regarded as an FIR filtering in spatial domain. One may consider spatial IIR filtering but it is unfeasible because spatial delay element does not exist. Recalling that IIR filter structure can be divided into feed-forward and feedback sections, we develop a way of realizing spatial IIR adaptive filtering by estimating spatial delay for desired wave. Performance of the proposed array is evaluated through some computer simulation.
