Abstract :
In recent decades many researches were focused on SF6 gas mixtures, especially SF6/N2 mixtures which are suitable for slightly non-uniform fields. This paper studies the breakdown of two types of SF6 binary gas mixtures which are mixed according to molar fraction of each pure gas and also investigates the effect of electrodes material on the breakdown voltage in these mixtures.
