Abstract :
We have developed a voice navigation system called VONAVS for blind person. The main point of the guidance support method for visually impaired person and blind person is show the possibility of the transmission of accurate guidance information to a spatial position and the guidance destination to a blind person. However, neither the navigation support nor the blind person supports from home to the destination are performed though navigation from a station and a specific point to the destination is supporting a lot of current navigation methods. Then, existing navigation support technologies were integrated voice navigation for the blind person was made for trial purposes, and it aimed at the experiment on applicability in this research. This paper describes the system design of VONAVS, and its implementations. In addition, the real system evaluation experiment was tried and the system effectiveness that we had proposed was confirmed.
