Abstract :
Power quality is becoming an increasingly important issue due to higher network utilization and to high end-user equipment sensitivity. This paper presents a solution for measuring and monitoring the network power quality at the consumer site. The developed network analyser uses a printed circuit board with two special Hall Sensors connected to a Spartan-3E Starter Kit board for data processing and display. For connecting the system to a personal computer and for updating the circuit written in the FPGA, a low power Wi-Fi module was used.
