Abstract :
A lightning radiation electromagnetic field data acquisition and processing system based on LabVIEW is proposed in this paper. This system can acquire two channels of magnetic field signal and one channel of electric field signal simultaneously. The sampling rate of the system can reach up to 20 MS/s, and this value can be adjusted according to the requirement of the different measurement tasks. The time service of the GPS is used in this work to provide a precise time stamp for the measurement file. The processing of the signal that is fetched from the antenna is also performed based on LabVIEW. The result of the signal processing procedure is validated by comparing to the result from the hardware based on signal processing equipment.
