Abstract :
In this paper, temperature mapping by using permanent magnetic resonance imaging was studied. The different temperatures of porcine liver are measured with MRI using spin-echo (SE) sequence, which is based on the relationship between temperature difference (DeltaT) and average signal amplitude difference (DeltaM). The experimental results show that the temperature measured with MRI was basically identical with the digital thermometer measuring.
