Abstract :
The Finite-Difference Time-Domain method is used to analyze periodic structures with arbitrary geometries and dielectric permittivities. Its inherent advantages allow the wide band characterization of such structures in terms of reflection and transmission coefficients. Various applications to Electromagnetic Band Gap (EBG) structures showed a good agreement with published results.
