Abstract :
Appropriate Professional Groups have been formed by the local Chapter which consists now of about 80 members. Permanently being in touch with local professionals we have understood that there exists a good potential for increasing number of IEEE members in West Siberia. As a result the Novosibirsk Chapter has been recently extended towards Solid-State Circuits Society. New LEO-S Chapter has been launched as well as ED Student Branch. A new Chapter was launched in Tomsk last year. It is especially worth pointing out that involvement of IEEE in organization and help in conducting the Conference is constantly growing.
