Abstract
This paper introduces a software development platform that allows a quick and reliable automated design of a communication satellite payload based on user requirements and knowledge ontologies. This is a useful tool for engineers to estimate the feasibility of various requirements for multi-mission satellites which use a reconfigurable payload. The paper describes the software platform and the Requirements Ontology.
