Abstract :
The aim of this paper is to present a design methodology of systolic arrays based on Petri nets. After a reminding of the main systolic architectures properties and classic design methods, the new approach is presented. Architectural Petri Nets are described and applied to an example of a linear array in order to illustrate the methodology.
