Abstract
Since subjectivity of opinions can be more effectively manipulated in the framework of fuzzy set theory, it is promising way to aggregate experts´ judgments using fuzzy set theory. In this short paper, a simple method to aggregate experts´ opinions is proposed. In our method, the multiplication operation on fuzzy numbers based on graded mean integration representation is used to simple the aggregation procedure. In addition, since the confidence indices for experts are obtained as crisp number, the final weight of each expert can be calculated without setting the degree of optimism, which also contributes the less complexity of the proposed method. An example in nuclear power plant is used to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed method.
