Abstract
This paper describes the use of multi-media in developing modules for an electromagnetics laboratory. Through the use of video and computer graphics visualisations of the invisible fields that are the object of study in the course are presented to the students in a manner that they find enjoyable and that greatly aids their understanding of the topic. The computers that can display and create these animations are also used to ease the mathematical burden that the subject presents to the students
