Abstract :
A new approach for retrieval of the vertical column concentrations of trace gases, from hyperspectral satellite reflectances, is proposed in this work. The Source Separation method is here applied to the SCanning Imaging Absorption spectroMeter for Atmospheric CartograpHY (SCIAMACHY) nadir reflectances for retrieval of sulphur dioxide trace gas.
