Abstract :
By analyzing the characteristics of degraded neutron image caused by scattered neutron beam, it is indicated that scattering result in the additive low-frequency noise component. Aiming at enhancing detail ingredient and restraining scattering ingredient, a multi-scale image enhancement method is introduced, which has some effect of restraining noise component caused by scattering. Experiment results show that this method is effective at enhancing the resolution of neutron radiation image.
