  • Abstract
    Viscosity is an important physical characteristic of liquid, but solid may be the normal form of most chemical products. The experiments of material mechanics and acoustics show that viscosity relates to sonic speed via elasticity. Ultrasonic solid viscosity sensor can not only predigest the viscosity measuring process, but also possess the advantages, such as lower cost, smaller shape, much lighter, fast measuring, non-interference production, easy using and so on. The sensor has already been successfully used in the inspection of polyester slice.
