Abstract :
CAPP, abbreviation for computer aided process planning, is widely used in the process planning of diversified industries. But for the manufacturing of vacuum interrupter, few applications of CAPP are found, besides, most of the existing CAPP systems have the disadvantages of excessively aggrandizing the automation in their planning process, which makes their practicability poor. Based on the discussion of two kinds of planning methods of CAPP and the process characteristics of vacuum interrupter, this thesis adopts an integrated planning method, namely interactive method and deriving method, in the development of computer aided process planning system for vacuum interrupter
