Abstract :
This study focuses on teaching students about resource recycling and classification through an instructional website based on WebQuest. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the impact of different teaching strategies on the learning performance of environmental education through quantitative methods. The participants in this study were separated into three groups: traditional instruction, traditional WebQuest instruction, and WebQuest in outdoor education. Through ANCOVA analysis, the results show significant differences between the three groups in the post-examination. In addition, this study found two interesting results. First, the process of using WebQuest combined with real situations helped students acquire more knowledge and experience. And second, student cognition directly influenced task performance and indirectly made an impact on learning performance.
