Abstract :
This paper analyses the current development situation of China\´s and international 500 kV unattended-operation substations (UOS), and discusses the purpose and significance of its implementation. Application systems like video surveillance system and equipment inspection robot are indispensable components of the 500 kV UOS. To avoid those application systems become the "information island" which are difficult to share information and have poor extensibility, this paper takes the best aspects of the fiber network construction, implements object-oriented dynamic modeling technology to establish an information integration platform in the substation, which unifies the external communication interfaces to coordinate the heterogeneous and isolated application systems properly, and indicates the changes of the corresponding management modes in the end.
