  • Abstract
    A protection scheme for parallel transmission lines protection using wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) protocol is introduced in this paper. The measured data at both ends can be exchanged through Wi-Fi protocol. In such a case, the onsite measured data and the transmitted data from remote end will be available for each relay. A protection technique is used for manipulating the data. Then a final decision is also exchanged through the Wi-Fi protocol to form a tripping or blocking signal.
