Abstract :
This paper presents a novel method for realizing universal current-mode filters using four current conveyors (CCIIs) and eight grounded passive elements. The synthesis method is based on the nullator-norator technique. The universal filter for realizing the current transfer function using four CCIIs and eight grounded passive elements has at least 264 possible circuit realizations. The derived circuits offer several advantages, such as high output impedance, low filter sensitivities to passive elements, use of grounded capacitors and independent control of ω0, Q
