  • Abstract
    Wireless position is one of the most important research fields in VANET application. It has certain technical restrictions to realize the accurate position between vehicle using wireless communication network., but it can realize approximate position between vehicles in local area, and can satisfy the requirement of vehicle active safe technologies such as collision warning for location precision in low speed. Due to the limitation of ldquodistance-lossrdquo model in wireless position, paper presents an approximate position algorithm model based on triangle centroid according to this model. The model is marked by reasonable designed method. Then the marked model is verified from the aspect of distance errors and position accuracy, it is resulted that the position method has strong transplantability and adaptability.
