Abstract :
In this paper we present the results of numerical analysis of photonic bandgap structures like bends and their concatenations, holey fibers or waveguide filter with holes and defect. These 2D and 3D devices were modeled by the Method of Lines (MoL). For the purpose of analysing bends we used the MoL with crossed discretization lines and scattering parameters.
