Abstract :
As an active form of support, bolt support carries many advantages, which makes it one of the principal support forms in sinking and driving engineering. In order to study how to improve the overall performance of the operational metal bolt, this paper focuses on the existing problems of ordinary metal bolt identified by some survey and analysis. The results show that the structure of operational metal bolts is so unreasonable that the bolt tail is easy to fracture with low load capacity. Besides, it also introduces a new type of strong big-end metal bolt and its heat treatment and roughing processing technology. We study on the processing technique of the new type of the strong steel big-end bolt, and make the microscopic examination after processing of the bolt. Through bolt tensile and metallographic test, the property of the new bid-end bolt is analyzed. The new findings indicate that after special processing technology, the overall strength and plastic of the bolt has been greatly improved, and the grain of bolt tail structure refined, which would help build up favorable working conditions for bolt tail. It´s obvious that the big-end bolt produced in this way will have a wide range of prospective market.
