Abstract
The problem of positioning is one of the hot researching point in wireless sensor networks (WSN). This paper first analyzes the existing two types of WSN positioning algorithm in the pros and cons, and then focuses on the approximate point-in-triangulation (APIT) algorithm which is one of the non-distance algorithms. Finally, in order to test the effectiveness of the algorithm, this paper implements and simulates the algorithm using NS2 simulation. Simulation results show that the error ratio of APIT positioning algorithm is 33% when the anchor nodes´ ratio is greater than 35%, and the positioning coverage rate has a high value when the anchor nodes´ ratio is greater than 25%.
