Abstract :
Map matching arithmetic is the key factor in the Vehicle Location and Navigation System. The paper gives an improved and adaptive algorithm based on C-measure. It uses the current and history information of the positioning points and the topology of the road efficiently. Three rules for distance, angle and connectivity are proposed to calculate match reliability. The real road experiments demonstrate the effective and applicability of this algorithm.
