Summary form only given. Controlled generation and delivery of reactive oxygen species (ROS) under ambient pressure and temperature promises new pathways for future healthcare technologies. Cold radio-frequency driven atmospheric pressure plasmas operated in helium with small oxygen admixtures are highly efficient sources of ROS.
