Abstract
A new method based on Hilbert-Huang Transform (HHT) is proposed to analyze the blast vibration signal in this paper. Energy-frequency-time distribution of the signal can be established though EMD (empirical mode decomposition) and Hilbert transform, from which Hilbert energy spectrum is obtained. The energy spectrum is applied to indicate the energy distribution of the signal on the frequency axis. The variation of blast vibration with time changing is researched by using instantaneous energy. Feasibility of the method has already been verified by the blast engineering test.
