Abstract :
SPC and APC are two important process control methods. Comparing to APC, SPC has more advantages in cost and in excellent rate. Especially, SPC can prevent quality accident. However, in advanced manufacturing environment the production is of single-piece and small-batch mode, which makes against the use of SPC. In order to utilize the advantages of SPC and find the statistics law of the quality characteristics in the single-piece and small-batch production circumstances, this paper adopts two ways to make use of SPC, which are using tolerance percentage method and amending control charts. The practice shows that the two ways are effective.
