Abstract
During the past years Tianjin\´s small town construction has made outstanding achievements and has owned special features and characteristics. For the sake of harmonious sustainable development of economy and society, to measure periodically the value of performance of demonstrative small town construction and the effect of the "demonstration" tends to be very important. This paper utilizes AHP, Delphi method and MATLAB software to establish a set of evaluation indicators for the relevant purposes aiming at helping decision makers develop strategic plan and tactical programs in the concerning field in the future. Twenty indicators are carefully selected according to principles of recycling economy. The procedure of producing weights of indicators basing on AHP is concretely illustrated. Finally, the paper points out that construction of demonstrative small towns should be planned from high starting point, designed in superior level, and implemented in high quality, in accordance with requirements of establishing environment friendly society.
