Abstract
The nature of dielectric behaviour and pyroelectric properties of three ceramic/polymer composites have been studied. One of the composites shows a significantly higher pyroelectric figure of merit than PZT. The loss process appears to be due to the polymer phase with an added contribution from the ceramic phase at low frequencies and high temperatures
