Abstract :
Waveguide channels were produced by direct writing using UV laser radiation on the surface of thin films prepared with organic-inorganic di-ureasils hybrids doped with zirconium tetra-propoxide deposited on silica on silicon substrates. The waveguides output mode profiles were acquired for signal propagation at 635 and 980 nm. Selective mode launching was achieved though the control of the coupling position of the waveguide input signal.
