Abstract :
The authors report experimental results on bacteria filtering through an electret air filter which has a laminated structure made from a number of PP (polypropylene) electret films separated from each other by aluminum foil. The authors measure the bacteria filtering efficiency of the filter in natural environment. They also explain its mechanism and discuss the possibility of its application in pharmaceutical factories and bacteria-free rooms
