Abstract :
The use of near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) to measure the concentration of elements in Irpex lacteus was investigated. One hundred and seventy five samples were collected and traditional methods were used to determine the concentration of adenosine, polysaccharide and mannitol. The spectra were pre-treated by savitzky-golay smoothing, fast fourier transform (FFT), 1st derivative, 2nd derivative, standard normal variate and wavelet packet transform prior respectively to developing calibration models using Monte Carlo partial least square and moving window partial least square. The results showed that 20 point 1st derivative, 10 point savitzky-golay smoothing and 10 point FFT treated spectr established the model might be used to determine three elements respsctively. The RMSEC and RMSEP of optimum PLS model for adenosine, polysaccharide and mannitol were 0.8653, 24.0815, 7.0155 and 1.0105, 24.2202, 7.4854, respectively. The results suggest that NIR measurements can be applied as a rapid method to determine three indicated elements in Irpex lacteus.
