Abstract
This paper considers the problem of estimating the captive-carry life length of a missile from highly censored data. The captive-carry life length of a missile is a “measure of the cumulative time a missile can be carried by an aircraft in-flight and still remain launch capable”. This paper explores several different methods for analyzing the captive carry data set
