Abstract
The Web offers a variety of Web services on the Internet that can provide similar functionality. Thus, to ensure an automatic discovery including the selection of the appropriate service among other similar ones, the Web Service (WS) description must unfold outside its functional aspect through additional information describing its non-functional aspects. Many approaches have been proposed to enrich the WS description among others OWL-S, WSMO, etc. However, these approaches still research products and didn´t achieve yet the standard status. Instead, the research community has suggested to expand the WSDL description standard to enable this language a wider coverage of different aspects of WS description. In this paper, we present a semantic description model aligned with the W3C standards namely WSDL 2.0, SAWSDL and WS-Policy in order to capture as much information as deemed necessary for dynamic discovery of WS.
