  • Abstract
    The tunability of a red and orange fiber laser was investigated using Pr3+/Yb3+ doped ZBLAN fibers. A maximum output power of more than 20 and 10 mW for the red and the orange fiber laser was found, respectively. The total tuning range was 18 nm. The fiber lasers were pumped with two pigtailed laser diodes at 845 nm. No free space optics except of the tuning block was used.
