Abstract
As researchers develop proof-of-concept solutions and capabilities for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), it is critical to ensure the solutions are accurate, viable, and will integrate with various types of UAS systems. Researchers can validate research prototypes by conducting live flight test experiments in a UAS testbed. This paper describes how the Intelligent Analyzer software application, used for communication during lost link situations, was integrated into a UAS testbed. By using a database as the integration point, only minimal changes were required of the existing research prototype and the testbed infrastructure. The paper also discusses the challenges encountered during the integration and testing of Intelligent Analyzer at a UAS testbed.
