  • Abstract
    This paper discusses the issues that can exist in cement industry applications when applying multifunction microprocessor-based protective relays and utilitizng ac control voltage rather than a dc battery based control bus for their auxiliary control power. The paper recommends several techniques for overcoming these issues.
