Abstract :
In future cellular networks, the problem to select an optimal access network will be difficult. The context performance will be much more diversified. Mobile devices with multiple access interfaces are expected to be always best connected anywhere at any time providing ubiquitous broadband access. For these reasons, a seamless autonomic selection process for the proper radio access network is required in order to guarantee service continuity with a good quality level. To find reliable network, there is a necessity to mention the degree of importance of these context aware in the handover decision. From this standpoint, this paper addresses the weighting problem which represents an important key in the decision process. An intelligent handover mechanism based on specific weighting mode has been developed. Our main contribution is based on the precision and the simplicity of Analytic Hierarchy Process and the notion of clusters supplied by an Analytic Network Process. A comparative analysis, illustrated through numerical simulation, shows the performance of our analysis in choosing the adequate priority of the context-aware.
