Abstract
This paper presents a control technique applied to the three-phase boost converter for power factor correction without the use of current sensors. The converter operates in the continuous conduction mode, which allows the operation with higher currents levels. The control technique is based on the modulation of the spatial vector by means of predictive actions that can determine the adequate time interval of each operating stage. A theoretical analysis of the control technique is presented in order to examine its performance.
