Abstract :
The motor mechanisms in regulation of gastric emptying are very complex. Motor and sensor coordinations in many portions of gastrointestinal tract are essential in the emptying process. Abnormal gastric emptying often results from impaired myogenic, intrinsic or extrinsic neural, hormonal or central control mechanisms, and even from impaired intestinal feedback
