Abstract :
This paper presents the detection of spikes and motility from chaos-like serosal recordings of gastrointestinal myoelectric activities. Three optional methods were developed for different types of recordings, such as gastric, intestinal and colonic myoelectric activities. Applied experiments show that these methods can effectively detect the spikes of the serosal myoelectric recordings and motility of gastrointestinal tract
