Abstract :
In P2P streaming media networks, users are mostly concerned about how to make full use of node resources, reduce the node startup delay, and ensure the continuity of broadcast media. The evaluation for structure of the P2P streaming media however, has largely been ignored. This paper will firstly, analyze the typical structure of the P2P streaming media system, then propose the methods to evaluate the P2P streaming media architecture which is based on structural entropy and from system Information Flow. The method adopts timeline/ss and quality of the P2P streaming media networks to give the evaluation of the system. Finally as an example, the paper makes use of this calculation model to analyze, verify, and give the evaluation for two streaming media systems.
