Abstract :
For the coal seam conditions of Shendong mine area are shallow, horizontal, thick and extra-thick, mining adaptabilities of combined technologies that short-wall mechanization combining with super-long long-wall large mining height fully-mechanized or fully mechanized sublevel caving are expounded in the terms of coal seam conditions, workface parameters, corollary equipments and process flows. And it made the first proof on a fully-mechanized workface that was 300m long and large mining height. The results show that the fully-mechanized process is adapted to the coal seam conditions and the resources mining rates are greatly improved and it made great economic benefits.
