Abstract :
In this paper, we extend the traditional SNR estimation algorithms defined in complex AGWN channel to time variant linear channel and present a new SNR estimation algorithm for OFDM system. We compare our algorithm with two moment-based algorithms. Simulation results show that the new algorithm performs better in large Doppler frequency environments and is insensitive to the statistical characteristics of the channel.
