Abstract :
The harmonic elements of stator current in induction motor will be changed in the condition of stator winding in fault and single-phase open circuit. According to this characteristic a new fault diagnosis method is proposed in this paper. Fault information is separated by current preprocessing, then the twice wavelet transform is applied to achieve fault feature extraction. Experiment studies show that this method has a high fault diagnosis rate and a strong fault recognition rate considering non-motor-faults such as external load changing and the asymmetry of three-phase.
