Abstract :
English interpretation course is a training course of skills and techniques based on the grasp of the basic English competence. The subject of interpretation training is students, so it is very essential to provide students with an authentic English environment. Traditional college English interpretation class can hardly offer authentic interpretation situations, thus some problems have occurred, which have greatly influenced the qualities of interpretation training. Compared with the traditional mode of college English interpretation teaching, E-learning, as a method of foreign language teaching aids, plays an important role in creating the interpreting environment, increasing the opportunities of students´ use of foreign language and practice of interpretation in the authentic situations. It also can activate the enthusiasm of students´ learning. In the E-learning environment, English interpretation teaching has shown new development trend, which is helpful to the improvement of the quality of college English interpretation teaching.
