Abstract :
A kind of channel estimation algorithm was proposed that based on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing system according to the current lack of channel estimation methods. This algorithm adding windowing techniques on the channel frequency response, that makes power spectral density outside the bandwidth declines rapidly, and then, through a low-pass filter to filter out of band noise, which reduces the estimation error response. The improved algorithm has the characteristics of a small calculate and a simple structure and so on. By using Matlab tool, simulation results indicate that the improved algorithm has a lower bit error rate compared to the original channel estimation algorithm, especially in high SNR cases.
