Abstract :
A method is described for analyzing general switched-capacitor networks with nonideal amplifiers. The finite bandwidths of the amplifiers distort the response of the network from the required response. It is shown that by readjusting the poles and zeros of the transfer function the required response can be accurately restored. In such cases, readjusting the clock frequency and/or the phase timing will enable the designer to obtain a final response which is very close to the desired one. The described optimization procedure ensures the stability of the designed network. Illustrative examples are presented.<>
