  • Abstract
    A systematic approach is presented in paper to develop an adaline PID controller for a real mechanical ventilation and air-conditioning (MVAC) system. The controller is designed to control temperature of air supply. Adaline neural network technique, in conjunction with conventional PID control laws, is used to get the adaline PID controller for temperature control in paper. The controller can track the temperature of the setpoint successfully. Step change in setpoint and disturbance rejection tests are made and performed well too. The results show that adaline neural network especially adaline PID control technique can be an easy control tools for obtaining excellent performance of refrigerant and air-conditioning system and similar thermal system.
